I have finally got a little time to update Starscape theme. This new version brings few small bugs fixed, and two new features. I have added direct integration support for GD Star Rating comment review rating, and support for upcoming WordPress 2.7 thread comment model. Also, I have made some changes to CSS and added classes for rendering image captions. Next version will be released with WordPress 2.7, and will have more GD Star Rating features integrated, and also will improve on comment threading. Small update to fix a potential problem with FavIcon noticed by the people at WordPress.org testing themes for theme directory. I have added new option allowing display of Add Comment buttonĀ along site comment counter with posts on front page, search results page, authors and archives pages. Just another regular maintanence release is here. Most important change is exapnding CSS classes to support tags for comments like blockquote and code (thanx goes to Anita for pointing this out). Also, some of the IE6 issues have been also fixed. And one very nasty bug in author module (thanx to Snider for discovering this bug). Since I am still getting a lot of questions about customization of Starscape:
Thank you for using Starscape. Few hours after I released 1.5.0, I have notices few problems. So, here is the quick fix update. I have fixed few problems with translation strings and error in POT i18n translation file. Few other things are fixed, and I have added some strings to POT files that I missed before. And as a bonus new Nova preset style in blue, with Star shaped WordPress logo. This new desing is used on wp.gdragon.info. And here it is, after 5 months of development, this is the last edition of Starscape. No more new features will be added, only one or two more bug fixing releases. This time, edition Scorpius comes with some very interesting features and improvements. I have updated this blog, and also the demo blog with new versions. Demo blog can be used as a proof of XHTML and CSS validity since, many plugins tend to break that. So, the theme is 100% valid. Demo blog is on: demo.starscapetheme.com. If you want to find out what’s new, keep reading. |
