And here it is, after 5 months of development, this is the last edition of Starscape. No more new features will be added, only one or two more bug fixing releases. This time, edition Scorpius comes with some very interesting features and improvements.

I have updated this blog, and also the demo blog with new versions. Demo blog can be used as a proof of XHTML and CSS validity since, many plugins tend to break that. So, the theme is 100% valid. Demo blog is on: demo.starscapetheme.com.

Control Panel

Control panel is changed and I have added few new things, and cleaned it up a bit. Now, there are few saved presets for Nova engine. These presets will change colors and images used by theme theme at once.

Icons, Favicon & Images

You can now customize icons used by the theme for top menu options. I have added icons to post elements like tags, categories, read more and others. On General page in control panel, you can choose the icon set you would like to use. There are also few FavIcons included, and you can add more of them, and then choose them from the General page in control panel.

Theme now features few new images designs: Scorpius (default), Cygnus and Dragon. You can load each of them using Presets on Nova engina page.

Multilanguage support

Theme can be translated, and full POT file is provided with the theme. You can send me translations, and I will include them with theme. User guide contains more info about this.

And the rest

There are numerous fixes and changes included, speed and performance improvements and code cleanup. Some of the templates are improved, and Archives page is expanded to include detailed category info.
