After few days of fixing bugs, changing some and adding new features, Starscape theme is now stable. Full list of changes can be found on the Changelog. I have also added some new screenshots, and also updated main theme page to include all Starscape features. If you have any suggestions about this theme, you can leave a comment here, or contact me via the form on the contact page. Theme is released under Creative Commons license. If you feel like it, you can donate. Also, in the next few days I will start a series of tutorial posts about creating Starscape theme, and announce features for Starscape II. |

On the outset, this theme looks good. However, customization options are not so easy. For example, if the side bar needs to be tweaked to match an individuals interest, this theme is certainly not user friendly. May be some of those usability considerations will make this a great theme!

THE TWO SIDE COLUMNS
It will be great if you could make both columns in different width (i.e. one narrow and one wider). The width you have here in good for the narrower one but may the other one about 1.5x wider).
HOME
You should allow the “STARSCAPE” banner clickable to bring the user to home.
SEARCH
Allow the user to replace the Search with Google Search.
Wanted to let you know I like the clean look.

Thanks for a great and clear theme.
It would be great if you integrate a Lightbox function to display the large pictures when clicking on the posted thumbs/reduced pictures.

Sidebars width can be adjusted through control panel for the theme, and you cen enter exactly how wide each sidebar should be.
I like using Lightbox as a plugin, so I decided not to include this in the theme. There are few plugins that can be used for this. Also, I like using NextGen gallery, and there are different viewers build in it.
Scandir is available only in PHP5. I will fix this and change it to be compatible to PHP4.
